Storme Sixeas

Executive summary

Storme Sixeas serves as the Tax Legislative Affairs leader for Grant Thornton’s Washington National Tax Office. A seasoned tax policy professional with more than 20 years of experience, she delivers strategic insights on federal tax policy and the political landscape to a broad range of industries and taxpayers. Sixeas is also a respected public speaker and writer on tax and legislative issues.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, she spent nearly a decade in Deloitte’s Washington National Tax Office, where she advised large clients, tax practitioners and stakeholders on federal tax policy developments and political outlooks. Her career also includes leadership roles at BAE Systems, Inc. and the Electronic Industries Alliance, as well as work as an independent government relations consultant and on Capitol Hill as a House leadership aide.

Sixeas is the past chair of the Tax Coalition, a professional organization that brings together women in tax policy across Capitol Hill, the administration and the private sector. She is also the most recent past U.S. chair of the British-American Project, a transatlantic leadership network.
